New Zealand Minibeasts

Before we head off on our trip to the beautiful Waitakere Forest, we thought we better find out about some of the animals we would see.

No, the big mammals for us but the tiny invertebrates. The most fascinating New Zealand native we researched was the weta.

We are hoping to see some real ones when we go on our trip!

The children have been working on the iPads to display their knowledge about this half term's topic of Sustainability. They used the app Strip Designer to create factual poster pages.
