Home Learning Term 1 2016

The Home Learning tasks are designed to encourage families to spend quality time together on fun activities.

The level to which you complete the tasks will be up to individual families but we know your children will love every minute you  share with them.

Home Learning sheets will be sent home every Monday and due back at school for checking and discussing on Friday.

In addition to the home learning sheets, spelling, reading and maths practise outside of school will help your child’s confidence.

Spelling
The children will have 10 spelling words to learn each week. They are tested the following week at school.

Reading
Read for a minimum of 10 minutes a day. Parents may like to write down reading at home in the children’s homework book to keep a record of it.

Mathematics
Children can practise the skills and knowledge for Mathematics by using the Mathletics app or website.
If you do not have internet access, practising basic facts is a suitable alternative.
